EGMO Token Airdrops are coming

Roadmap & Future Vision

EdgeMob is being developed in progressive phases to balance near-term deliverables with long-term innovation. The roadmap is structured to ensure early adoption by developers while steadily evolving toward a fully decentralized, large-scale AI compute ecosystem.

Phase 1: Foundation (Present)

  • Launch of the EdgeMob mobile app for Android and iOS.

  • Local model loading and inference with localhost API exposure.

  • Centralized API Gateway for stable routing.

  • Initial EGMO token integration for basic rewards and payments.

Phase 2: Expansion

  • SDKs and libraries for Web2 and Web3 developers.

  • Model registry for publishing and sharing open-source and custom models.

  • Support for background batch processing and lightweight fine-tuning.

  • Enhanced developer tools (CLI, monitoring dashboards).

Phase 3: Decentralization

  • Transition from centralized API Gateway to decentralized routing using WebSockets and Solana smart contracts.

  • Staking-based participation for node operators with reputation scoring.

  • Marketplace monetization for models and premium workloads.

  • Privacy-first federated learning pilots.

Phase 4: Distributed AI Cloud

  • Fully decentralized AI compute network leveraging billions of smartphones.

  • Large-scale distributed LLM execution with SLA improvements.

  • Federated retraining and collaborative model evolution.

  • Integration with multi-agent ecosystems via MCP servers.

Long-Term Vision

  • Position EdgeMob as the default AI compute layer for mobile devices globally.

  • Enable enterprises, dApps, and consumer apps to access AI without reliance on centralized GPU clouds.

  • Unlock offline, privacy-preserving, and low-cost AI infrastructure at planetary scale.

The roadmap illustrates a clear progression: start with developer-first tooling, expand through decentralized coordination, and culminate in a global mobile AI cloud. EdgeMob’s long-term vision is to redefine how AI is delivered—democratizing access through the untapped compute power of billions of smartphones.
